Thinking Like a Designer: Your Collection. | Parsons x Teen Vogue Assignment.
For this assignment, I created an accessory from one of my inspiration photos out of unconventional materials. So, I made a cheetah print choker inspired by the Cheetah Girls. I couldn’t find a choker like the one in the movies so I made my own.
I used velvet cheetah print fabric and stick on Velcro. I just simply measured the fabric with measuring tape and measured around my neck to make sure the choker wouldn’t be too tight.
Then I cut the Velcro and added it to the ends, one piece on the outside of the fabric and one piece on the inside so it connected correctly. I also made sure the Velcro didn’t go outside the ends so it wouldn’t stick to my hair or clothes.
I let it sit for about 15 mins and that was it. After that, you can adjust it how you like!
