Your Production Skills: Your Mock Up. | Parsons x Teen Vogue Assignment.

For this course, my assignment was to create a mock-up of my Signature Bag that represents the Visual Style in one of my personal style mood boards and to make use of the fabrics I found that are on my fabric card.

I used light card stock to make this mock-up and just taped it together. And from that I determined what I would need to actually create the bag so I made a Production Cost Grid for each of the fabrics I found.

Each grid shows the amount of fabric I would need the make the purse. I added the supplies I would need like metal loops to attach the handles and also fabric glue and thread. Then I added the cost of how long it would take me to produce the bag multiplied by the minimum wage for retail stores. Lastly I added the cost for a 20% Profit and a Estimated Retail Price. Here are the Production Grids for each Fabric I found on my Fabric Card.
