My Certificate | Parsons x Teen Vogue/Yellow Brick Fashion | A Review.
In January 2019, I received my certificate for the Parsons School of Design Fashion Industry Essentials Program with Teen Vogue! This is an online certificate program that takes about a year to complete. In this program, you learn about each part of the Fashion Industry with the courses -Unlocking Visual Style, Thinking Like a Designer, Understanding Fashion Production, Working in Fashion Media, and Developing Fashion Marketing and PR Skills.
This is a great program for anyone who is curious about the Fashion Industry and may want to have a career in it. I choose this program because I have been interested in Fashion for a long time and I wanted to have a career involving it but I didn’t know where to start. I wanted an easier way to learn without having to apply to different universities and schools. The application process for this program was very easy. Also having this program online was very convenient. I could learn and study on my own time. If I had any questions, I could always get help from the live chat or email.
Having this certificate really helps me with any future careers I might want to look into. During this program, I explored many different careers and found an interest in skills that I didn’t know I had. Like Photography, Creating Mood Boards, Styling, Social Media and more. Right now, I plan to use what I learned for making a career and building my brand with blogging and photography. The assignments in this really helped me learn how to build my brand and connect with other people in this industry through social media and in real life. Also with other people who have completed this program too!
Again, I recommend this program to anyone who is interested in learning about the fashion industry in an easier way. The assignments are very fun and interesting. You can do this at your own pace and uncover skills you never even knew that you had. In the end, you will have knowledge and industry advice from some of the top people from Parsons School of Design and Teen Vogue and a professional portfolio that will help you with any career you want in the fashion industry!
